Cooling Tower Cleaning

Cooling Towers act as air washers. Because of this, they bring in many contaminants and foulants that can drop out in low-flow areas of cooling towers.

These contaminants can be a food source for biological species. This may contribute to vast buildups of biofilm which creates a higher risk associated with Legionnaires Disease.

An important part of a cooling water treatment program is maintaining a routine cleaning schedule.

At FINCOIL, we stress to all of our customers a twice a year cleaning. This is also recommended by the AWT, CDC, CTI and ASHRAE as being the routine time table for cleanings.
